Two Meeting Choices on July 20

July 7, 2016

Two meetings of interest to the neighborhood will be held July 20.

The Historic Southwood Park Board of Directors meeting will be held July 20, 7PM, at Shawnee Branch Library.  (This was rescheduled from July 13.)

There will be a meeting regarding the City’s Overflow Reduction Tunnel as well that night.  The following information was provided by the City:

Fort Wayne City Utilities has organized another opportunity for residents of your neighborhood to learn about the upcoming construction of the Three Rivers Protection and Overflow Reduction Tunnel (3RPORT) project.  The event will be held on July 20 beginning at 6:00 PM at the Summit, 1025 W. Rudisill – enter through Door H.

Residents in the following neighborhoods are being sent the attached postcard inviting them to the meeting:  Broad River, Broadview Terrace Addition, Illsley Place Community, Indian Village Community, Sand Point, Southwood Park Community, St. Marys River Winchester Road Improvement area.  Other similar meetings will be held over the next few months, so if you or your neighbors are not able to attend this meeting, there will be other opportunities.

Questions the meeting or the project may be directed to me at the phone number below or by email.  Thanks for your on-going interest in this important and necessary project.  A map of the tunnel route is attached for your information.
